Acceptance of Terms of Use

Welcome to the website of Dapper Dogs (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our website, booking services online, or interacting with us digitally, our studio, or our services, you agree to the following Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. Use of This Website and Liability

This website is provided for informational and dog grooming appointment booking services purposes only. You agree to use it responsibly and lawfully. You may not:

  • Use our website for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

  • Use the site to harm or harass others

  • Copy, modify, or distribute site content without our express written permission

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of our website without notice.

We have the right to take legal action, including without limitation, referral to law enforcement for any illegal or unauthorized use of this Website. We have the right to terminate or suspend your access to all or part of the Website for any or no reason, including without limitation any violation of these Terms of Use.

We have the right to cooperate fully with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity or other information of anyone posting any materials on or through the Website. YOU WAIVE AND HOLD HARMLESS DAPPER DOGS AND ITS AFFILIATES, LICENSEES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS FROM ANY CLAIMS RESULTING FROM ANY ACTION TAKEN BY DAPPER DOGS/ANY OF THE FOREGOING PARTIES DURING, OR TAKEN AS A CONSEQUENCE OF, INVESTIGATIONS BY EITHER DAPPER DOGS/SUCH PARTIES OR LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITIES.

We assume no liability for any action or inaction regarding transmissions, communications, or content provided by any user or third party. We have no liability or responsibility to anyone for the performance or nonperformance of the activities described in this section.

2. Service Scheduling and Cancellations

Appointments for dog grooming, nail trims, or deluxe baths (grooming) can be made online, by phone, or in person. A completed account, including a valid method of payment, is required before we can accept a grooming appointment. By booking with us, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Provide a valid method of payment

  • Arrive on time for appointments

  • Arrive within 30 minutes for pick-up of your dog once notification received. We reserve the right to charge a late pick-up fee of $25 which will be added to your service charge at time of checkout if you fail to pick up your dog within 30 minutes of notification that your dog is ready for pick-up.

Cancellations and No-Shows:

We do charge for cancellation of appointments made less than 24 hours from your dog’s scheduled groom. The cancellation fee will be the price of the grooming service. Your credit card on file will be processed.

We do charge for no show appointments. If you have a scheduled appointment and fail to show up for the appointment, you will be charged a no show fee for the full price of the grooming service that was scheduled. Your credit card on file will be processed.

3. SMS Texting Notifications and E-Mail Notifications

By providing your mobile number, you expressly consent to receive SMS messages related to appointments, service updates, and optional marketing. You can opt out of SMS texts anytime by replying "STOP." Message and data rates may apply.

By providing your email address, you consent to receive email messages related to appointments, fees, invoices, service updates, and occasional marketing information. You can opt out of email notifications by sending a message to Cleanpaws@dapperdogs.love.

4. User Accounts and Information

If you create an account or provide personal details (e.g., for scheduling or contact), you agree to:

  • Keep your login credentials confidential

  • Notify us of any unauthorized use

  • Only submit truthful, up-to-date information

We are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to protect your account.

5. Pet Safety and Health Requirements

You agree that:

  • You will provide proof of your dog’s current rabies vaccine documentation prior to your dog’s groom and/or upon our request at any time.

  • You hereby acknowledge if your dog’s rabies vaccine is not current or you fail to provide the required proof by or on the day of your dog’s scheduled grooming appointment, your dog’s grooming appointment will be cancelled and you will be charged the late cancellation fee.

  • You will inform us of any behavioral issues or health conditions via customer notes in your account and covered at check-in with the groomer.

  • You will notify us if your dog is sick, is nursing, recovering from a veterinarian procedure which would create an unsafe grooming experience for your dog and our staff.

  • You accept that grooming can carry risks (e.g., nicks, stress, allergic reactions)

  • You agree to sign a matting release waiver at check-in for dogs that require de-matting services such as shaving or brush out. Extra fees will apply for severely matted dogs which require extra service time to complete the groom.

  • You acknowledge and assume all risks associated with grooming services, and agree not to hold Dapper Dogs liable for any injury, illness, or death of your pet unless caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

  • You will always accompany your dog in our studio and your may not be left alone.

We reserve the right to refuse service if a pet poses a risk to itself, our staff, or others, as we determine in our sole discretion.

6. Self-Service Wash Facility Rules

When using our self-wash stations, you agree to:

  • Your dog will be leashed entering and exiting our studio and during the entire time in our studio.

  • Supervise your dog at all times

  • Use equipment as intended. This includes using the required slip leads to tether your dog to the tub during the wash AND using the slip lead to guide the dog to the drying room

  • Notify staff of any damage or issues

  • Not bring dogs into the studio that have been sprayed by a skunk

  • Not bring dogs into the studio that have fleas

  • Not bring dogs into the studio that are sick, have open wounds, or infections

We are not liable for injuries or accidents caused by improper use or failure to follow staff instructions.

7. Intellectual Property

All website content (text, images, logos, etc.) is owned by Dapper Dogs. You may not reproduce or use any content without written permission.

We reserve the right to withdraw or amend this Website, and any service or material we provide on the Website, in our sole discretion without notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for:

  • Any damages, including without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages, resulting from your use of this website or our services

  • Injuries or health issues that occur during grooming or self-wash, except in cases of proven negligence

  • Temporary unavailability of the website or booking system

  • Temporary unavailability of our studio due to weather related issues or other causes beyond our reasonable control.

  • Temporary unavailability of our groomers

You assume all responsibility and risk with respect to your use of our website, which is provided ‘as is’ without warranties, representations or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, with regard to information accessed from or via our website, including, without limitation, all content and materials, and functions and services provided on our website, all of which are provided without warranty of any kind, including but not limited to warranties concerning the availability, accuracy, completeness or usefulness of content or information, uninterrupted access, and any warranties of title, non-infringement, merchantabilty or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that our website or its functionality or the content and material of services made available thereby will be timely, secure, uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that our website or the servers that make our website available are free of viruses or other harmful components.

We will not be liable for any damages of any kind related to the use of our website.

In no event will we, or our affiliates, our or their respective content or service providers or any of our or their respective directors, officers, agents, contractors, suppliers, or employees be liable to you for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, losses or causes of action, or lost revenue, lost profits, lost business or sales, or any other type of damage, whether based in contract or tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of, or the inability to use, or the performance of, our website or the content or material or functionality through our website, even if we are advised of the possibility of such damages.

Your use of this site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information, including for SMS communication.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated terms.
